2008-2016... He made history ^_^

How are you coping with the election of 2016??

          I asked most of my friends and family this question, and after the many shocks, sadness, and amazements had passed, we all agreed on a couple of things:

1) Don't let this deter you from participating in your civic rights...
         ---Many of us would not hat had the opportunity to even cast a vote in years past, so to have the RIGHT to do so now is an opportunity that should never go unused.

and

2) "This Too Shall Pass" --
       --- If you are West Indian, then you understand this old phrase. Sure, we have a president that not many wanted, but it is nothing new under this sun. There have been many elections wons that haven't been the favorite of the people to win. So, now we wait and see... Will this candidate raise to the challenge and acknowledge the huge responsibility it is to speak for the many individuals of this great country, or will the new president fail miserably. Who knows, but one thing is for sure... This Too Shall Pass and 2020 will be here before you know it.
